Terms and Conditions of Treatment

London Pain Consultants and Medical Associates Limited

  1. Payment and Fees
    1. Patients who are covered by a recognised UK medical insurance company are reminded that:
      • It is essential to confirm your cover with your insurance company prior to clinic appointment or admission.
      • Please note if your insurers do not cover the full cost of your treatment you are expected to settle any shortfalls.
      • If you do not have medical insurance please settle your account before attendance.
    2. Current fees are £195.00 (UK Sterling) (one hundred and ninety–five pounds sterling) for a half hour consultation.
    3. Where treatment is undertaken BUPA rates are used and written quotations are available.
    4. We accept the following methods of payment: major credit cards, debit cards, bankers drafts and BACS. Cheques are only accepted by prior arrangement and via a UK bank. Please contact 0845 045 0250 for further details.
  2. Appointments
    1. Wherever possible appointments will be arranged at your convenience by telephone. All appointments will be confirmed in writing within 1-2 days of telephone confirmation.
    2. Should you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, you are requested to contact 0845 045 0250 as soon as possible. Appointments not attended, and without 48 hours prior notification, will be charged at the full rate.
    3. For your information, you will receive a copy of your clinical letter/s, addressed to your General Practitioner, within 2 weeks of your appointment date.
    4. If you have any questions regarding your appointment, please contact 0845 045 0250.
  3. Additional Treatment
    1. Any additional treatment, investigations or procedures will be discussed with you prior to arrangement. Again, every effort will be made to arrange a convenient date and time for you and will be confirmed in writing.
  4. Confidentiality
    1. All personal details are held under the registration of the Data Protection Act of 1998.
    2. Confidential information shall not, other than in connection with the care and treatment of patients, be passed on to any third party, copied or used improperly.
  5. Agreement
    1. This agreement is legally binding and no variation to these Terms and Conditions can be made otherwise than in writing and at the agreement of both parties.
