Dr Jill Neilson C.Psychol Consultant Psychologist & Systemic Psychotherapist

Dr Neilson is Chartered as both a Counselling and Health Psychologist, registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) . Her additional post qualification training includes: Systemic Psychotherapy, with additional registration as a Eye Movement De-sensitisation and Re-processing (EMDR) Practitioner. She holds an NHS post at the Hertfordshire Partnership Trust, Trust in addition to private practice in London and Hertfordshire.

In-depth psychological assessments and a comprehensive range of treatments

Dr Jill Neilson is able to provide in-depth psychological assessments and a comprehensive range of treatments. Short and long-term therapy is offered for various physical and mental health problems, including chronic pain, stress related illnesses, and trauma, e.g. road-traffic accidents. In addition to treatment for anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties, Dr Neilson offers therapy on an individual, couple or family basis. A range of therapeutic approaches are used - Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR).
