Lecture to Trainee Anaesthetists on the Assesment and Treatment of Acute Pain on 12/4/06.
Dr Jenner delivered a lecture to Trainee Anaesthetists at St Marys Hospital, London on the Assesment and Treatment of Acute Pain on 12/4/06, in the Department of Anaesthesia.
The trainees ranged from first year Senior House Officers (SHO's) to experienced SpR's (Specialist Registrars) in Anaesthesia.
Topics covered included the commonest methods of scoring pain; basic differences between nociceptive and neuropathic pain and the treatment of each, including the abridged WHO analgesic ladder and anti-neuropathic pain medications.
