Dr Yongzhi Li is a Chinese Medicine Doctor and Acupuncturist.
She gained her Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Degree at the highly respected Changchun College, China in 1984. She was awarded her Medical Masters degree in 1988 after three years of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine research at the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Beijing. Following this she took up a post as Lecturer at the Beijing University of TCM.
In 1988 she was offered the opportunity to practice in London with the Herbary Chinese Medicine Centre. In 2001 she became Clinical Supervisor of Chinese Medicine at the Asante Academy of Chinese Medicine, London.
Besides practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, she also lectured and supervised students at the Whittington Hospital Pain Clinic and regularly assisted at the Soho NHS Walk-in centre.
She currently holds weekly clinics at the Kailash Centre in St John's Wood and is Acupuncturist at the Pain Clinic at St Mary's Hospital, W2.
Yongzhi Li specialises in the application of Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping in the treatment of painful conditions.
